Longwood Gardens is where American horticultural excellence is defined. Getting called to work there is its own credential. Being asked back is another.

EHS worked the grounds at Longwood beginning in 2019, handling seasonal bulb installation in the center garden and groundcover installation at the Italian Water Garden. Longwood holds its property to a standard most clients never approach. The expectation going in was that the work had to belong there.

Ann Waters, who heads EHS’s professional gardening staff, completed Longwood’s own two-year Professional Gardener Training Program before joining the crew that worked these grounds. Her roots in this region, and in Longwood itself, run deep. Ann trained at Longwood. Longwood trusted EHS to work its grounds. Those two facts are not unrelated.
