Horticultural Maintenance

Devoted to Every Detail, Every Season.

Premium grounds maintenance for estates, private residences, and properties that deserve consistent, expert care.

The landscape is an investment in beauty, in value, and in the experience of the property itself. EHS has built its reputation on the kind of maintenance that protects that investment: dedicated crews who know your property, specialists who know their craft, and a standard of care that doesn’t vary by the season.

What We Do

Landscape Maintenance

Regular maintenance across every season: spring cleanups, peak-season care, fall preparation, and winter readiness. No subcontractors. Your property gets the same dedicated EHS team, visit after visit. The people who know it, because they’ve been caring for it.

Estate Management

For estates and equestrian properties that require the most. EHS assigns a dedicated team of manager, horticulturist, and gardener to estates that need deep continuity of care, from formal gardens to paddock perimeters and property drives. We work alongside permanent staff or serve as your complete grounds team. The goal is always the same: vibrant, alive, and exactly right.

Garden Care

EHS’s professional gardeners are among the most credentialed in the region. Led by Ann Waters, a University of Delaware graduate and alumna of Longwood Gardens’ rigorous two-year Professional Gardener Training Program, garden care at EHS goes well beyond surface maintenance. Corrective pruning, perennial division, disease and insect diagnosis, creative seasonal plantings: this is horticulture practiced at its highest level.

Turf Care

A comprehensive, multi-tiered turf program managed by PJ Walraven, a Penn State Landscape Contracting graduate with over 25 years of experience on premier residential properties across Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey. State licensed. Programs formulated to your specific soil composition and turfgrass type. The result: you stop thinking about your turf. We take that on.

Plant & Tree Health Care

Integrated pest management, corrective pruning of ornamental shrubs and trees, and proactive plant health monitoring. The living elements of your landscape stay healthy, not just presentable.

Irrigation Maintenance

Proper irrigation is the backbone of a healthy landscape. EHS manages irrigation systems as part of a complete maintenance approach, ensuring your plantings receive the right amount of water at the right time, across every season.

Seasonal Services

Spring mulching with perennial pruning. Creative container plantings. Fall preparation and winterization. Holiday installations. EHS manages the seasonal calendar so your property looks exactly right at every point in the year.

All In-House. Always.

Every crew member who touches your property is an EHS employee. No subcontractors, no handoffs, no unfamiliar faces. The people who know your landscape are the people who show up.
