LIGHTING & IRRIGATION
Your Property Doesn’t Stop at Sundown.
EHS designs, installs, and maintains landscape lighting and irrigation systems that protect your investment and extend your enjoyment of the property year-round.
A well-designed landscape is a year-round investment. Outdoor lighting ensures it performs after dark, drawing out the structure of the planting, illuminating the paths, the stonework, and the architecture, and giving the property a quality of presence that photographs don’t capture. A properly designed irrigation system ensures that investment doesn’t suffer through a dry summer because a system wasn’t calibrated correctly, or wasn’t managing the right zones for the right amount of time.
EHS designs, installs, and manages both. The electricians and irrigation technicians are EHS employees, working alongside the horticulturists and masons who understand the full property. Systems are designed for what’s actually in the ground, not templated from a standard plan.
LANDSCAPE LIGHTING
Designed for the Property. Installed to Last.
Landscape lighting design begins with understanding the property: what should be seen, what should guide movement, and what should recede. EHS plans lighting layouts alongside the full landscape, so fixtures aren’t added as an afterthought but are integrated from the ground up. Low-voltage LED systems, designed to be energy-efficient, long-lasting, and adjustable as the planting grows.

Lighting Design & Layout
Fixture selection, placement, and zone planning for the full property. EHS’s lighting plans account for the growth of existing plantings, the seasonal changes in the landscape, and the way the property is used after dark. The goal is always a system that looks like it was always part of the design.

Low-Voltage LED Installation
Installation of low-voltage LED path lights, uplights, downlights, spotlights, and accent fixtures. EHS installs systems with proper conduit, waterproof connections, and the wiring management that makes a system serviceable for years. No surface-run cables. No exposed connections.

Lighting Control & Programming
Timer programming, zone control, and seasonal adjustments. Lighting systems should come on before you need them, run at the right intensity, and adjust automatically as the days lengthen and shorten through the year. EHS manages the programming as part of the installation and adjusts it during regular maintenance visits.
IRRIGATION
Calibrated to the Property, Not Just the Calendar.
Proper irrigation is the single most important mechanical system in a managed landscape. Too much water invites disease, compaction, and runoff. Too little stresses plants, especially newly installed material that hasn’t yet established. EHS manages irrigation not as an independent system but as part of the full picture of what the landscape needs, calibrated by season, by zone, and by what’s actually planted in each bed.
Irrigation System Installation
New irrigation system design and installation for properties without existing infrastructure, or for landscape areas added through a Design & Build project. EHS plans irrigation zones alongside the planting design, so head placement, drip lines, and zone logic account for the actual plants in each area, not a generic grid layout.
Irrigation System Management & Service
Ongoing irrigation management as part of EHS’s full property maintenance program. System performance is checked during regular maintenance visits, with adjustments made by season and in response to weather patterns. Overspray, inefficient zones, and coverage gaps are caught early and corrected, not noticed in October when the damage is done.
Spring Startup & Fall Winterization
Seasonal system startup and shutdown, including spring pressure check and head inspection, and fall blowout to prevent freeze damage. For properties on a full maintenance contract, these visits are scheduled automatically. EHS manages the calendar so the system is ready when you need it and protected when you don’t.
System Troubleshooting & Repair
Diagnosis and repair of existing irrigation systems: controller failures, broken heads, damaged zone lines, and coverage problems. EHS’s technicians manage these repairs with knowledge of the full landscape, so repairs are made in context: understanding what’s planted in the affected zone and what it needs.
One Company. Every System.
Your EHS lighting technician and your EHS irrigation technician work alongside the same horticulture team that manages your plantings. When a lighting fixture needs to move because a bed is being replanted, or an irrigation zone needs adjustment after a new installation, the fix doesn’t require a call between competing vendors. It’s a conversation between people who already share the full picture of your property.
